JKPSC Veterinary Assistant Surgeon 2012

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) Veterinary Assistant Surgeon 2012 recruitment was notified through Notification No. 19-PSC(DR-P) of 2012 dated 26 March 2012 for 104 posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry Departments. The notification required candidates to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) from a recognized university, and applications were accepted until 26 April 2012. As 495 applications were received, JKPSC conducted a screening test on 3 June 2012 at Jammu and Srinagar to shortlist candidates. The shortlisted candidates were subsequently interviewed from 9 to 19 July 2012, and JKPSC issued the select list on 18 September 2012 based on interview performance along with academic merit, experience and other prescribed parameters.
